JSC 'ZNVKIF New technologies' was founded in 2004 as a management company for the group of companies possessing diversified portfolio of assets in various sectors of economy, from hydrocarbons extraction to food production.

JSC 'ZNVKIF New technologies' follows the strategy presuming the diversification of its assets. At the same time, hydrocarbons production is the main strategic activity of the foundation. development.


Hydrocarbons production

The development of natural gas- and oil-related business in Ukraine is one of the strategic tasks of the Foundation. The Group is planning to complete the construction of Yuzhno-Medvedevskoye and Yuzhno-Hrestishenskoye gas fields in 2015 begining to sell natural gas in the domestic market of Ukraine.

Geography

The geography of Group's activity in the sector of hydrocarbons prospecting and production covers practically all major oil and natural gas fields in Ukraine: in Western, Eastern and Central Ukraine as well as AR Crimea.

Resource base

The company has 10 billion cubic meters of proved reserves available, that is one of the best indicator among private oil and gas companies in Ukraine. The Company is provided with proved reserves for 5 years and the major part of these reserves belongs to the category of traditional ones allowing to increase the production effectively. In addition, the Company has in its disposal 12 billion cubic meters of probable reserves and 10.5 billion cubic meters of possible reserves being the source for making proved reserves up in the future.

Geological prospecting

To secure the steady growth in production for long-term perspective JSC 'ZNVKIF New technologies' actively extends its resource base at the expense of prospecting operations and new acquisitions. Prospecting operations of the Group are mainly carried out in the most promising oil and gas-bearing regions of Ukraine (in Western and Eastern Ukraine, AR Crimea) providing the Company with an access to approximately 120.5 billion cubic meters of expected reserves.

Oil production

At present exploratory operations are performed in Oktiabr'skaya and Yuzhno-Oktiabr'skaya licensed areas (Crimea), as well as two prospect wells are being drilled.

The provision of the Company with proved oil reserves is 5 mln. tons. The Company will complete works on construction and putting into operation of the plant to prepare oil for transporting before the start of 2013. A 11-km-long pipeline will be constructed from the oil field to railroad station from which oil will be transported in tanks to Ukrainian oil refineries. The total sum of investments in this project will exceed 5 mln. US dollars.

Natural gas production

The Group is one of the most promising independent private gas producers in Ukraine. The Company will extract more than 3 billion cubic meters of gas a year having a huge potential to increase its production further.

Processing

The plant for extraction of sinking hydrocarbon fractions (propane-butane) will be put into operation before the start of 2014, the volume of output equaling 150 cubic meters a day. Propane-butane will be transported by tank lorries and sold in the domestic market of Ukraine (filling stations etc).

Environmental safety

In the field of environment protection the Company is guided by the requirements of Ukrainian legislation and norms of international law. The decrease in harmful emissions into the atmosphere is one of the Company's priorities. Special attention is being paid to preventive measures aimed at minimizing negative effects on the environment.

Coal production and conversion

The main activity of Group's enterprises in the sector of coal production and conversion is in the following areas: coal cleaning and its further processing; use of coal industry waste; search and implementation of new, promising technologies and equipment in the field of coal production and cleaning. The main produce of our coal cleaning factories are a high quality coal originated from Donetsk coal field of AK, AO, AM, Ash grades. A high quality, low sulfur content and optimal prices are typical of the produce of our coal cleaning factories. Due to a high quality and low sulfur content our coal has a high consumer demand in EU countries. A coal produce is shipped to the domestic market of Ukraine as well as in European countries and CIS countries.

Invest together with us

Despite the presence of a monopolist in the domestic oil and gas market of Ukraine, the dynamics in the increase of private producing companies' share is observed. Taking into account the dependence on imported hydrocarbons, the diversification of producing companies and attraction of investments into this sector of industry is stimulated by the state in the form of tax concessions for gas producing enterprises (Law № 1392-VІ) as well by the possibility to sell gas at a comparatively high market price.

Taking into account a high level of gas consumption by industrial enterprises and population of Ukraine the investments into hydrocarbons production have an attractive outlook.

    The project involves the construction of factories for the production of energy pellets as well as ensuring the plant's own raw materials - energy willow.
